How we turned a global gathering into a celebration of people, code, and impact

The Pulse of Microcorem, Live and Unfiltered
For two days each year, Microcorem comes alive—in person. We bring together our global team across cities like San Jose, Harwell, and Quebec City for a festival that blends code with community. It’s not just an internal summit or a product showcase. It’s a ritual of learning, laughing, and leaning in.
What Actually Happens at the Festival?
1. Live Code, Real Stories
Engineers demo internal tools, unfinished experiments, and even failed prototypes. No polish. Just real code, raw learnings, and the occasional command-line chaos.
2. Panels That Don't Feel Like Panels
We ditch the stage monologues for living-room-style discussions on everything from multilingual design to model fairness. No buzzwords. Just builders talking to builders.
3. Workshops You Actually Want to Attend
Whether it's a crash course in prompt engineering or an ethics-by-design bootcamp, our peer-led workshops are designed to sharpen your edge without the ego.
4. Culture, Not Just Content
From rooftop jam sessions and local food trucks to our infamous “late-night lightning talks,” we create space for joy and spontaneity. Because magic happens outside the agenda.
5. Giving Back
Every host city includes a community partner. In 2025, that ranged from open-source fellowships in Doha to STEM outreach in Quebec. The goal: leave the city better than we found it.
More Than a Festival
People often ask, “Is this just for Microcorem employees?” The answer is: no. Our festival is open to the ecosystem—startups, students, civic tech orgs, and sponsors all join the party. It’s our way of investing in the kind of future we want to build software in.
Because in the end, culture isn't built in decks or all-hands. It's built face to face, commit by commit, taco by taco.
